God gives sufficient grace or “all needful light and grace” to help us attain perfection or maturity.
Catherine makes a great point that if God did not do this, we as humans would make excuses instead of get to work doing the good that God has prepared for us to do.
This explains why growth in generosity is often incremental. We take a step of growth, then another.
What next step is God wanting you to take. The good news is that He provides needful light for our path and grace will abound to us as we take it. Seek the Lord today. Do what He says.
Don’t put it off as we never know if we have tomorrow. Make the most of today.
