I will stand at my watch and station myself on the ramparts; I will look to see what he will say to me, and what answer I am to give to this complaint. Then the Lord replied: Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it.
HABAKKUK 2:1–2

“Gary, I want you to know that I appreciate your teaching so much. It’s biblical and practical. I want everyone in my Gen Z generation to hear what you have to share to ignite them to live simply, give sacrificially, serve humbly, and love generously, but I need to tell you something. Few people have time to read anymore. Our generation does not read. Even me, I only read your meditations occasionally. I suggest you start doing videos and reels and see how it could spread through your networks all over the world.”

Today marks 17 years of Daily Meditations. Praise God.

Like the prophet Habakkuk, I have waited on God for what to say to His people worldwide and written it down. In the ancient world, heralds spread the message on foot from village to village. For 17 years I have used emails. But the time has come to add channels so that people like Mariyan, and you who are reading this, can spread the message.

Whether you have been reading daily meditations for 17 years or joined more recently, I wanted you to hear this news first.

That is why I am glad to share a first look at the renewed Generosity Monk website.

With the help of Mizraab Khawar, Digital Media Strategist for Generosity Monk, this vision has been translated into a digital platform for this next season.

“For seventeen years the message traveled by email. Now the time has come to add channels: videos, reels, and a renewed website, so it can run farther than ever before.”
